Hi Friends, Today I am introducing to you a very simple recipe Potato Pepper Fry. Its very easy tasty recipe can served as a sidedish for Lemon rice, plain rice along with sambar or rasam. This is my kids favourite side dish and I used make. The use of ginger paste, pepper powder and coconut oil makes it very flavorful and tasty dish. So lets see this easy recipe with step by step cooking pics.
How to Make Aloo Pepper Fry-Potato Pepper Masala Fry
Peel the skin of potatos and chop into small cubes. Keep it aside. Heat a dry pan, pour coconut oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and dry red chilles. Allow mustard seeds to splutter and saute it for few seconds.
Then add sliced onions and saute it well adding little salt. Saute it until onion turns brown.
Add ginger paste in it and combine well until raw smell goes on.
Now add pepper powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and saute it for 2 minutes in very low flame. Should roast the masala nicely without burning.
Add the potato cubes into the pan and saute well on low flame for minute.
Now pour 1 and 1/2 cup of warm water and allow potato to cook by covered the pan with a lid. when is it half done add salt.
When it is dry stir fry it for another 2- 3 minutes by sauting. Now it is ready to serve.
