How to Make Cream of Tomato Soup- Fresh Tomato Soup Recipe- Restaurant Style Soup
Heat a deep bottom frying pan with oil, add bay leaf, garlic, onions and saute for an minute. Then add in the tomatoes and mix well, pour 1 and 1/2 cup of water and salt cook on a medium flame for 9-10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
It should cook well and tomato should turn mushy. Remove the bay leaf and allow the tomato mixture to cool well.
Blend the mixture in a blender until smooth and keep it aside.
Heat a deep bottom non stick pan with butter, then add maida/ all purpose flour and saute well with out forming lumps for 1 minute in a low flame.
Pour milk and mix well until it form a thicker white sauce.
Strain the tomato mixture using a strainer and pour to the white sauce mixture and combine well. If it is too thick, add 1/2 cup to 1 cup water and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
Add diluted corn flour, adjust salt, add sugar and pepper powder. Mix well and off the flame. Garnish with fresh cream and serve hot along with bread croutons.
