I would love to say my grandma and my mom were the greatest influence on my life. They always tried to make sure I was always doing my best and doing what I wanted to do. They always wanted me to stay strong, stay independent, and not let anybody get in the way. They are all about equality in every single way and I leaned a lot from them. There are many those nostalgic recipes that reminds us of grandma that I know by heart. She also taught me about the importance of tradition in food.

  1. Why is the final product after cooking while still in the wok of a dull brown color as against the rich red color of the dish in the glass dish? I like its rich red color.
